Your Guide to Crosstoberfest

More info will be added to this post throughout the week.

Crosstoberfest = two cyclocross races in Little Rock on the weekend before Halloween.

This is your guide, whether you are a racer, fanatic, or merely cross-curious.  Both events are free to the public, but racing does require a (totally affordable, totally worth it) entry fee.  Even if you've never raced a bike before, you can race Crosstoberfest.

Saturday night's race takes place at a softball complex.  Think: fast, compact, technical.

Sunday's race is at the site of a former golf course which was formerly a dairy.  Think: sylvan, expansive, hilly.

Directions: Take I-30 West to exit 139A (AR-365/Roosevelt Rd).  Turn right on Roosevelt.  After 0.7 miles, turn left on S Arch St.  It's about 1 mile to park entrance on right.

Directions: Take I-630 to University Ave exit heading south.  After 2 miles, turn right on Col Glenn/Asher.  After 1 mile, turn left on Western Hills Ave.  After 0.7 miles, entrance is to the left where Westwood Ave meets Western Hills Ave.
